A wealthy man invited two artists into his home where he commissioned them to create two works of art.

When the artists asked what they should paint, the wealthy man replied, “Whatever inspires you.”

The first artist was brought to his room where he found a canvas five feet tall and eight feet wide. He had no idea what he was going to paint. Wondering what he should do, he went out to the terrace and beheld a spectacular view overlooking the city. He collected his supplies and started to paint .

The second artist was taken to another room where he found a canvas only a foot and a half high and about a foot long.  He too had no idea what he was going to paint.  His room also had a terrace that had a view overlooking the city.  But as he looked around, he noticed that there was a flower struggling to grow from a crack in the floor. He collected his supplies and started to paint.
